I've been eying a pair of over the knee Frye boots for a while now, and this was a fantastic price I couldn't resist. The Jane tall cuff boot gives you the option to wear them folded (cuffed) or unfolded (over the knee), and both styles look great. These, unlike some of the other tall/over the knee boots don't come w/ a zipper, but honestly, I don't think that affects how easily they come off/on (I've tried both, and yeah, they take the same effort - they pull on easily enough, and you're going to have to sit down to pull them off).There's been some comments on the 'white stuff' that appears on the boots when they arrive. Looking online, it's a protective covering for shipping purposes. Haven't noticed it on any other of the Frye boots I own, but just take a damp cloth to wipe it off or rub a cloth over it, and yes, it does come off easily enough.Other than that, these boots arrived in perfect condition, and the leather was nice and soft. The fit was fine - I tend to waver between a 7 and a 7.5 in shoes so I go with 7.5 with Frye's. Comfortable boots that I can wear all day, but that's what I love about Frye's. With the cuff folded down, these hit just below the knee. Cuff unfolded, it covers the knee.Again, can't say enough good things about Frye boots. Well made and last forever.
