I should have been wise enough to buy such a chair much earlier in my career as a Irish harp player. It is of good construction, easy to carry and set up, and provided that my posture is good, it supports my lower back just where I need it to. I regularly play for three hours at a time, three days a week, and this chair has made that time so much more comfortable. Get this chair!The leg support welds broken after a year of use. The chair was nice and sat well, but once the leg welds broke it was useless. Tried to have it welded but the welder had problems with the snap locks taking too much heat and the lock also broke.i'm 5ft 10in, and i think it is a little too high for me at lowest setting. so be careful. the not tall chair may be better. high quality thoughThere is no overlap in the (adjustable) height between the regular chair and the tall version.The legs in the rear may be adjusted a notch higher than the front to provide a forward tilt to the seat.I am 6' 3", play a cello, and prefer the legs extended two notches up in the front and three notches up in the rear.After purchasing my first Acoustic guitar I was having trouble finding a chair in the house that allowed me a comfortable position to play without interference from chair arms, cushions, pillows etc. I tried all the chairs in the house to find one that was the right height all to no avail. It's a miracle!This chair is great and has really helped me find a good position for playing the guitar. The seat is well padded and is comfortable for practice sessions. I have not folded and moved it around but it would be very easy to do if you have the need to transport he chair.Purchased for husband to sit while playing accordion, he said it's comfortable.
