I have trouble finding boots that fit my calves and thought these would be perfect. I hate to buy the stretch upper kind because they look cheap and are never leather at all. When they arrived they were gorgeous, the leather was perfect and the color was exactly what I wanted however a few hours after wearing them the little elastic bands snapped (2 of them). I really loved the little button details but couldn't spend that much on boots to have them break. They wouldn't last one NYC winter. Too bad. I though of having the elastic fixed but I'm sure it would just keep snapping. Back they went. I'll keep searching!I don't typically have to make returns to Amazon, but these boots went back almost immediately. The button/bungie cord broke within the first hour I was wearing these... and it's not like I was hiking through the city!! I was just sitting at my office desk for most of the morning ~ and do NOT have abnormally sized calves. I don't get it? Why sell a boot that obviously has a major design flaw?? Amazon is great ~ but DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS. I didn't listen to the negative reviews, and I am sorry I didn't. Very stylish and unique.Just got this boot because my calfs are big. This boot is adjustable to my leg. Snug fit, sexy boot. I love the brown color. Sooo comfy that I had to come back to amazon and get this boot in black.Beautiful unique boots. Everyone loves them. Great compliments all the time.
