I'm a permanent crutch user and got these to replace old, ratty ones that I kept way too long. The crutches themselves are good, if a little heavier than I'd like at the bottom tip, but my gripe is with the crutch tips. The pair the crutches came with lasted for about 4 or 5 weeks before wearing a hole through the bottom. Now for the good part, the seller (Continental) responded incredibly well to my complaint about the crutch tips and immediately sent out two new pairs, which I've only been using for a week or so. All things considered, I'd buy again (and probably will in a year or so) just because of the service I got.Two weeks later: I've already gone through the first pair of Guardian Replacement Crutch Tips that Continental sent me. Two weeks!!! Those things can't be made of resilient rubber. My guess is they're cutting corners on materials to save a couple of pennies in manufacturing. My previous crutch tips have always lasted upwards or three or four months at the very least. I still like the crutches, but I'm not getting the Guardian tips for them again.
