I needed winter boots that work in high snow conditions--lots of drifting in my area. These come well up my calves. Winter is yet to come but they feel warm and cozy immediately upon trying on. There is room for socks, too, unless your wear super thick socks. I wear a moderate weight made for diabetics and there is no problem with anything rubbing against my feet. I splatted them with water and it beaded up. I don't know how long this waterproofing will last, but they are now. Nice tread on the soles which will help in snow but not so clunky they are like platforms and not so toothy that I will track in snowballs. They appear to be well made--only time will verify that. I'd say all is as advertised.Love the fitI had bought the same pair of boots a couple of years ago and through my own error ruined them. I decide to buy a new pair this year. Ordered from the same site, same color and same size but the calves were huge.These boots are everything I was hoping for at a price I could afford. They slip right on and the fur keeps my feet cozy and comfortable. They seem to have some arch support as well. I could easily wear them all day. Initially they felt tight - but very soon conformed to my feet and if anything are slightly loose. I highly recommend these boots. Oh, and they come already waterproof.At first I assumed these were knockoffs bc I knew Bearpaw doesn't come in ½ sizes.But then I saw the seller was Orva, a longtime great NYC store. So I called Orva and said what's the deal? And they said Bearpaw did a special run of ½ sizes for a handful of retailers who'd been asking for them for years.So glad I called! I love these so much — no more slopping around in too-big boots that only get bigger the more you wear them. And they're already water-resistant, no spraying necessary.They are perfect.I am a true 8.5 and these were true to size. I did some digging because I thought bearpaws didn’t make half sizes. Well I was wrong Bearpaws DO make half sizes for certain vendors. These fit like a glove and best of all they are tall! I am 5’6 and they come up an inch higher than half my calf. It’s so hard to find tall boots these days!! So glad I bought these.I am happy with my new Bearpaw boots. I did see that some of the reviews question whether or not they're authentic & I cannot say for sure. On one of my boots, the Bearpaw logo on the back heel area is off-center. I have not owned enough Bearpaws to know if this is unusual or not. What I do know is that they look & feel great! They are very warm and comfy! Time will tell how they stand-up to wear & tear. I truly hope these last me for at least a few years as I don't wear them all the time. I would recommend these to others. Even if they're not true Bearpaws, I feel the initial quality is good enough to justify the cost.I ordered these boots bc I really wanted a nice charcoal gray Ugg boot but didn’t want to pay over $100 so decided to try these BearPaw ones. I’m super happy with them. Very soft, and comfy. I’m normally between a 7.5 and 8. I ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The only negative is the boot is a bit wide on the calf area (there’s about 1” extra space around my calves). It bugs me but not enough for me to return it. If i paid $$$ for them then yea I would return it. I would say my calves are average size so if you have skinny calves than I prob wouldn’t get them. But who knows, maybe the one I got happens to be made wider.I was worried these wouldn’t be as quality as my old Aussie Dogs. I was wrong. They’re better!! They are the real thing in case anyone is wondering. Real fur inside. Feet are so cosy! Wish they were a bit taller but didn’t get them for style.Bardzo ciepłe i wygodneI love them
