I have a problem with paying for Brand Names sometimes. I sort of think all the junk in the world is made in one huge factory, and they just put better/worse labels on it and one is cheap, one is expensive. I have changed my tune as far as Ugg Boots and Fake Ugg Boots go. I had a pair of Bear Paw fake Uggs for 10 years....actually surprised they held up that long. They gave out completely this year, the soles split from the shoe, all the rubber edges cracked. THey made it a long time...however, the 10 years I had them, they were nowhere NEAR as comfortable or warm as real UGG's.I read all the reviews regarding the Made in China stuff, and from what I read, I determined that mine are real. The box comes with a label stating that there is a holograph label on the box and inside the shoe, mine had both, and it seems that Ugg has exported the labor to China. Anyway, they're real Ugg's, and honestly almost everything is made in China...unavoidable pretty much. I try to buy Made in America (and in this case it would be Australia, so I guess regardless I would be Un-Patriotic) but it's almost impossible anymore. My Uggs rock, are super comfy and warm, I got the Ugg brand waterproofing spray and on a trip up to the cabin in Big Bear, have already worn them briefly through the snow (just a few minutes total) and bacon grease splashed on them one morning too, they look brand new. I am not trying to be extra careful with them, they'll get wear and tear...but I've seen immediate results as to the high quality of these, that I doubt fake ones can sustain. Snow...bacon grease...dog slobber...etc...they look awesome and feel fantastic.
