While working in his family’s dairy and serving in Italy in WWII, Myron Breakstone saw firsthand how hard it was to stay warm in harsh conditions. In 1954, he started RefrigiWear Clothing Company. What makes our products unique? We visit thousands of jobsites every year—right beside the workers we serve—to make sure we are always delivering quality products for you Why do we love what we do? We eat, sleep, and breathe our purpose—creating better products for the cold. For over 60 years, our first thought when we get up has been “the same-old-same-old isn’t good enough.” Next page

INSULATED COAT: Get serious protection and warmth in any extreme cold conditions with our insulated winter jackets for men and women. Our heavy-duty arctic jackets keep you comfortable down to -50°F (-46°C). The inner 11.25-ounce RefrigiFill polyester insulation will protect you from freezing weather.

TOUGH WORK COATS: Keep out extreme winter weather elements with this water-repellent and wind-tight adult jacket. The tough knit cuffs, anti-draft elastic back band, and soft fleece collar keep you heated and ready to go. Even the strongest winds won't cut through this durable workwear.

EASY TO WEAR & REMOVE: Brass front zippers with storm flaps on this hard-line jacket make it simple to put on or remove. Use the included snaps for the 0081 hood for added face protection. You can also wear other necessary work equipment, like masks or a pair of gloves, with this jacket.

DURABLE & LONG-LASTING: Each extreme cold-weather jacket is highly durable and lasts you for years of indoor and outdoor use. Brass rivets in the suit reinforce stress points, and the tear- and abrasion-resistant 400-denier nylon cover, bound seams, and heel-reinforcement patches protect your boot area.

POCKET STORAGE SPACE: With 2 oversized, insulated front pockets, this rugged outerwear has plenty of space for hands and tools. It also has convenient patch and chest pockets for added storage. You can even carry smaller items with the zippered 2-stall pencil pocket on the left sleeve.

I have a condition that makes me have severe pain when I deal with cold so I am always looking for warmer clothes and coats. I live in pa and during the winter this kept my upper body so warm. The coat is stiff but honestly I can deal with that and it not a deal breaker for me. I also got the gloves from this company and now I am looking to order pants. If u need to be warm this is the coat to get!I bought this REFRIGIWEAR set to replace my old gear I have had for 12 years, my old REFRIGIWEAR gear after 12 years of use, had started looking a little worn, still works awesome. So I bought REFRIGIWEAR again because the old gear lasted 12 years of heavy use. got it yesterday and was in a -20% freezer for 9 hours and was snug as a bug in a rug. The pants I got first was a little big, REFRIGIWEAR sent me a new pair of large the next day and the fitment was awesome, they are a great company and make a great product.I hate to give this thing a 1 star rating, but it has a fatal flaw for me, and I'm surprised more people don't find this to be a problem. The problem is the front neck collar. I've never had a jacket that presses on the front of my throat before, but this one is terrible for it. As long as I leave the jacket unzipped the upper 3 inches or so, no problem. But if I zip it up all the way (even if I do not use the snap buttons), there is a hard plastic portion of the front of the neck cuff that seems bent on pressing on my airway. The only way to keep it from pressing on my throat is to pull the jacket down, but if I bend over or raise my arms, it quickly scoots back up and cuts me off right under the adam's apple. Just a weird, weird thing I've never seen before. Now if you think the jacket might be too small, no, it's the perfect size otherwise. Not tight, not loose, it fits in every way. At a price of more than $130, I would expect a coat that wouldn't try to strangle me. But hey, that's just me. Apparently I am the only one with this issue, so maybe I'm just anatomically strange, don't know.Using it for work I like the productThanksI live in Buffalo NY. Temperatures get below zero and wind chill drives it to -20's sometimes. This coat does the trick! It will definitly keep you warm and block the wind. Be aware; However, that is somewhat like wearing a kevlar vest. It is VERY solid material (all the better to block that wind). It doesn't restrict movement so the "hardness" of the outer shell isn't all that dificult to get used to.I bought an XL and I think I should have gotten a Large, but that hasn't stopped me from wearing it every day on Dog walks.Don't like it is now made in china. First one I bought was made in USAThese are by FAR the warmest coat, besides a Parka, that I've ever worn. Tough shell breaks the wind great water can get through it, but it dries super quickly. I would reccomend this coat for anyone who doesn't want fashion over form.Like: Very strong and durable coat. Perfect for cold and rain. The coat is not too expensive. I will buy from this company in the future.Once again, THANK YOUTrès beau produit et qualité, mais malheureusement beaucoup trop grand pour moi. Mais je reconnaît la qualité du produit.Warm as the Dickens. Rides up a bit when I sit down because it's a little stiff, but worth it when it's -20 or -25 and I'm sweating a bit :DGreat jacket Very warm. Fits prefect.Very warm. A little stiff but manageable. Big pockets.Fits great. Very warm.
