Unfinished International Concepts Mission Tall End Table - Solid Wood Side Table for Living Room, Bedroom, or Office - Perfect for Home Decor and Storage

I'm very happy with the quality of this table. I bought two to use as night tables with an iron bed. They're tall enough and wide enough to be perfect as night tables. I painted them with Annie Sloane Chalk Paint after assembling them, and assembly was easy enough for me. (I'm a woman with my own toolbox and power drill, and I never have trouble with IKEA's illlustrations-only assembly instructions, so maybe it's not as easy for everyone, but it didn't present a problem for me.) The only thing I changed was the handle pulls. Instead of using the wooden knobs, I ordered square metal knobs that coordinate with the iron bed, and I'm very happy with the result. No one would guess that these cost under $100 each, and I didn't buy them because I was trying to save money. I looked until I found something that would coordinate with my bed without being matchy-matchy and this was it. However, I will say that I spent a tad too much time trying to do a designed job with the chalk paint; turns out that using one color, rather than one color over another and then sanding, was enough. And I crackled the paint on the table tops, which I do love. Added lots of Annie Sloane wax after, and these tables don't get circles on them, even if you don't use coasters.
