I was looking for something to organize my messy kitchen gadget drawer when a friend suggested "tension drawer dividers". I had no clue that these existed!I bought a set and was so floored with the results that I ended up buying sets for nearly every drawer in my home. What I especially love is that typically you have to find plastic tray inserts to try to organize drawers (like in the bathroom/kitchen) but it's really hard to find the exact sizes you need. This totally solves that problem!! Yaaay!After picking out a style (bamboo w/sections) I realized I had a few REALLY deep drawers. This was the ONLY brand that had deep dividers (over 4") and that also had optional sections. Oh and btw, the height can also be created by stacking two of the less tall dividers if needed. I purchased several sets in different lengths and 2 heights for my organizing project.Not only does everything look absolutely AMAZING, but it forced me to go through ALL of the contents of my drawers where I found that I had a lot of things I should donate/toss. That was an unexpected bonus!!Now my leggings that used to be in tall stacks that would topple over in my closet are filed away neatly in a drawer! My socks & undies are organized, my bras and tank tops are stored orderly, my bathroom stuff is pristine and the process has brought me such a sense of peace and pride!One thing to mention is that the dividers come in two sizes. If you end up needing a different size divider because of how you configured your drawer, a heavy piece of cardboard works perfect!! I guess if you are really crafty you could even make your own custom length thin wood dividers too.I could not be more thrilled with these and would highly, highly recommend. Just make sure to measure carefully. Make sure that the minimum length of the dividers doesn't exceed the depth of your drawer and make sure the divider is long enough too. Also the height of the dividers can't exceed the vertical clearance of your drawer so don't forget to measure for that.I would suggest that when you receive your product, just take out one or two dividers/extensions to check the compatibility. That way if you have to return them it won't be a nightmare to repackage.This is such a brilliant product and what's so cool too is that you can move it, reconfigure it, and it's a really attractive & sturdy solution.Just buy it already!4 stars because I imagine this product would work very well in most cases, but the listed range is problematic.This product's description gives a range of 12-17 inches. I wanted to use it on a drawer that is 12.5 inches in depth, so it technically should have fit but, practically speaking, it did not. The divider is made of two pieces, which are spring-loaded together, which means that the shorter you want the length to be the more tension will be placed on the springs. The result of this in my case is that:1) it took a surprising amount of strength to get the dividers into place. Adjusting positioning after insertion was also difficult.2) it put enough tension on the back of the drawer to cause it to bend outward. I'd be surprised if it took more than a couple months for for that piece to break.Note: #2 probably wouldn't be an issue with a high-quality drawer; that back piece on mine is made of particle board.I would not be surprised if the opposite problem would occur in drawers close to the max length: i.e. the divider might fit the drawer, but with low enough tension that it could easily get bumped out of place.I had other dividers, but they only offered a vertical or a horizontal option, not both. These are great, offering both horizontal and vertical options. My drawers are so much neater and it's easier to find items. I thought the pricing was very reasonable.Would have worked beautifully if my cabinet drawers were bigger
