It just came with regular brown box without any Hunter box or receipt from the Hunter. I am concerned that I bought fake one. But quality is good so far, it doesn’t seem like fake one.I have wanted these for so long. I've been given other rain boots that, if I'm being honest, we're junk. These are so well made it's ridiculous. I absolutely adore them. I made sure that these would be original and not some cheep knock off. As luck would have it they arrived at the end of a rainy day which was serendipitous to say the least. If you want quality rain boots and have a little "rainy day cash" saved up I would treat yourself. They are so worth every penny.I love the brand but had to stop buying them because this was the 3rd pair I bought all 3 of them broke in the sole so now they are uselessI am never sure what my true size is sometimes I need a 6 others a 6.5. So is it a six when the item runs large or a 6.5 when they run small? I ordered the size six and the boot is plenty large enough for a heavy sock. The delivery date was to be 2 days after I ordered but they came much later. The boots were actually shipped from the UK and considering that they came quite quickly. They arrived just 3 days later. I did order the boots from this company though because I needed them to wear the day after what should have been the day they would arrive. I love the boots there were no scuffs or flaws as one picture shows and were in perfect condition. I am quite happy with my purchase.I have a hard time slipping my foot past the ankle area, too tight, even more so with the socks I bought to go along with it. Not sure if there’s a way to stretch it out.I bought these after contemplating other rubber rain boots. They’re waterproof super cute, bright yellow, the only thing I wasn’t expecting was how tight they are in the calf. I couldn’t wear jeans with them, only leggings. They are starting to stretch and be a little more comfortable. Just be ready to break them in and don’t be too scared if they fit a bit tight in the calf!Nice and pretty boots, but hard to walk in. They hurt the front of my ankle when I take stepsI LOVE these boots. I wear them year round to walk my 120 lb bloodhound and they are my go to everyday foot wear October-April. I have a narrow foot and fairly slim calves and they are perfect for me with a pair of wool socks. If your feet and calves are wide, you may find them a bit snug. I highly recommend this model over the “packabke” version, which I personally find too floppy, a bit shorter leg height, and wider footbed. My last pair of these boots lasted 7 years and then began to have some cracked areas.Poor product for Hunter.Purchased because if the brand and was looking for a quality product. After just a few months a clear ‘skin’ started to peel off all over both boots making them look awful.Contacted Hunter who said they wouldn’t do anything as the retailer is not an authorised Hunter dealer. The retailer wasn’t keen to help at first, then said to post the boots back for inspection although they couldn’t replace as they no longer had any.All in all, poor product and poor service from all.Avoid.I have heard from many people that Hunters was a good make and that they were the best option. In my opinion, the product is not worth the money and is a case of style over substance. The packaging was lovely to look at though excessive and non environmentally friendly. Is the packaging what is making these so costly? Also, and importantly, I had to chase up my refund before it was issued (in a very timely manner in the end). Although I returned these by post (at my own cost) the refund was not processed and I had to chase this up before it was given. If I had not kept the reference number I would have had no evidence as the company had not recorded the return after having signed for it.I have always had hunter wellies as they were a reliable choice. I have had my current pair for a few years but they were consigned to the boot room and forgotten about for some years. I then got a dog and thought them far more suitable for muddy walks than walking boots. I tried them on and found them quite tight around the calf and could barely get them on with thick socks on. The insole is terribly lacking and offered no support, shock absorbency or comfort resulting in me buying additional insoles from an outdoor shop. In 6 months I have worn them regularly they have only been on hour long walks in not very challenging conditions and have already started leaking at the seams and a tear appeared in the calf wall. This is very disappointing as Hunter were a reliable brand and are now a mediocre product trading on their reputation and Royal Warrants. I have now moved to Aigle wellies. My hubby has the mens tall black wellies so I bought myself a pair. His have an adjustable strap at the top to loosen or tighten the calf fitting. For £90 I would have expected the women's to have the same, sadly however the strap on the women's pair is just for show and doesn't allow you to adjust the fit around the calves. I'm a size 12 so below the average uk women, however I can just get them on with a pair of think skinny jeans or leggings. If my legs were any bigger I wouldn't be able to get them on. Seems silly to have spent the time and effort to fit a strap purely for looks without function.I'm disappointed with hunter. It is less than a year and one of them falling apart. The holes are small so I haven't noticed till this morning dog walk when my left foot got wet. It is not what I will expect for expensive and well known brand. It is one of the shortest life of my hunter wellies. 1st pair I bought I wore for 4 years. Some of 2nd good hunters were ok for 1+ year, what was fine in price range £20-30, but for £80 I expected something better
