Description

The jacket that started it all. An industry-leader from the get-go, the iconic Bugaboo Parka has been conquering the elements ever since its introduction in 1986. This season, we’ve upgraded the fabric to a super supple, extremely high-end nylon Kolon Twill that feels wonderful and is significantly lighter than previous Bugaboo incarnations.Classic color-blocked styling combines with killer performance technology, including an Omni-Tech waterproof-breathable exterior, critical seam-sealing throughout, and a wicking mesh interior to keep you dry and comfortable no matter how bad the weather, or how hard you work. Roomy interior pockets stow media, goggles, and other essentials while a strategically placed security pocket at the chest keeps your valuables safe and within easy reach. The zip-in Interchange system lets you easily remove the fleece liner when the temperature rises so you stay protected from rain and wind without getting overheated. With a nylon overlay and streamlined styling, the liner functions as a versatile fleece jacket when worn alone. If present close hook and loop fastener, machine wash cold permanent press, powdered detergent, rinse thoroughly, wash separately, do not bleach, tumble dry permanent pess low, iron low, do not use fabric softener, if present do not iron decal, do not dryclean.

I priced and looked around for a bit for a new jacket, found the bugaboo and really liked it. I noticed there were several colors and different patterns for it, probably depending on what year the jacket was actually made. The red with black and white is really sharp looking!! I had a hard time finding it in my size, well a little bigger than my size, I was looking for a Large. I found this one and it said Large, so I got it. (also was cheapest I found anywhere, and was only 2 states over in Montana and not coming from some online store in FL which seems an odd place to sell winter jackets) Well when I got it a couple days later it was not a Large, but a LT for Large/Tall which now looking the item title says Tall. I'm by no means Large or Tall, I'm a medium but wanted my jacket a Large to have some more room/comfort. Well now I have plenty and then some LOL. I has been keeping me warm and dry. I can't wait to use the outer piece at the beach this summer (yes people wear jackets in summer at the beach, least in Washington state). I can't say for sure if I would have bought it knowing it was LT size, but seems like the color/pattern for the tall jackets is different than the normal ones, and this is the pattern I prefered. Love all the pockets and the removable liner. Even the inside of the front pockets are lined and warm. So I give it 5 stars since its not the jackets fault its a bit too big, or that columbia made a better pattern/color for their tall sizes.
