I absolutely love this pea coat. I lurked amazon forever for a big sized peacoat in dark navy, and they finally stocked it in my size. I rrally appreciate Nautica making products for larger people. The image is a bit misleading in that the buttons are just plain mat black buttons, instead of the shown anchored buttons in the image that traditional pea coats have. They are loose, but these buttons are meant to be slightly loose. If you break em, and need to re sew it, make sure give the button a little slack, otherwise it will be difficult to get then undone once you have the coat on.This pea coat is the dark navy color, in 3xl regular. I have a 53 chest, and a 54 waist, and the 3xl fits me with plenty of room to layer up a turtle neck, cable knit sweater, canvas vest, and a scarf. Despite my girth, I'm only 5'8", yet the sleeve length isn't too bad., runs about half of my hand. The coat itself is a bit long on me running almost halfway on my thigh, pea coats are supposed to be more like a quarter passed your belt waist, but for a 3xl I am p short.There's a spare button on the inside, and the inside is quilted, altho, I will say this coat is a bit thin. This is not a Melton 100% all natural wool, but it says so on the product page, and I knew that well before buying this coat. However, if you layer up like a regular person does in the winter, then you'll be fine. I wore this when it was 9 degrees out in windy Chicago, and it kept me warm.Great quality. Great dark navy blue in color. Matt back buttons. Hard decision to return this coat, b/c it’s a good one...the only aspect I didn’t care for was the lighter-blue wool felt insert sewn beneath the exterior collar...very visible when collar is turned up. Not necessarily a minus, but to be considered.I went with a real deal black Rothco Navy pea coat from PATRIOTX...much higher wool % content...black anchor buttons, high colllar...heavyweight wool and construction.Bought for my husband who is 6'3 and 240lbs fits him perfectly and he loves it.This fit perfectly and my husband had broad shoulders and a big tummy. The lining is beautiful. Great value. Faster shipping than expected when I paid a little extra. I’d buy this again.N/AThe coat is very nice! I was so glad to find in size XXLT for my tall son. The quality of the black pea coat is suort.The coat itself is very nice looking and comfortable, not to mention warm. The fit is very good, especially for larger sizes. I normally hover between a 3xt and a 4x, but this 3x fit really well.The pockets are a bit small and a bit high on the coat, making for not the most natural arm bend when you keep your hands in your pockets.The biggest complaint I have so far is that the buttons are barely attached. After the 4th day of wearing the coat, the middle button was already almost falling off. It only comes with 2 thick strings holding each button on. I had to sow the middle button back on to stop from losing it since there aren't extras included on the inside. Now, after about 10 days, the bottom button is coming lose and is going to need repairing. This is pretty unacceptable for a brand new coat. It makes me concerned for the rest of the coat's build quality.Quality appears quite good. Fit seems to be true to the size table... I ordered it a bit on the big side, expecting from long xperience that might be necessary for a good fit (and also because the next size down wasn't available in Tall, which I also need) but it turns out to fit loosely - which is not a bad thing because I'll be able to comfortably wear it over several layers if necessary. I may move out the buttons slightly on the double-breasted front closure for a somewhat snugger fit, but that is not really necessary.Very happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend buying this coat. I bought this coat for my son, he is very tall and the coat fit him very well in the arms and the body. Very pleased with the great quality and price of this coat. I had read the previous reviews about it fitting big so I bought a size smaller than normal. I would recommend buying a size down, my son normally wears XL and the Large fits him well and it is still roomy for him to wear a heavy sweater.Looks great. Is worn daily. A little bit lighter weight than I thought it would be. Fits a bit loose so there is room for a sweater on really cold days. Solid purchase!Love this jacket. Well made. Look smart.OK
